The Kingdom of God!

Chapter 98

There is so much evil going on in our world and especially in our nation! However, the good news is that the Lord is in control, and He is moving to overcome those who are evil.

A landmark event happened this past Monday, the Supreme Court overturned Row vs Wade concerning abortion. Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knows us before He forms us in the womb. Psalm 139:13-16 speaks of God's active role in our cr-ation and formation in the womb. (NIV)

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Exodus 21:22-24 (NIV) prescribes the same penalty"death"for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as for someone who commits murder.

"If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.

This law and its punishment clearly indicate that God considers a baby in the womb to be just as much a human being as a full-grown adult. For the Christian, abortion is not a matter of a woman's right to choose to have a baby. The baby is already present and living. Abortion is a matter of the life or death of a human being made in Gods image 1:26-27; 9:6. (NIV)

"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

What does the Bible say about abortion? Simply put, abortion is murder. killing of a human being created in the image of God.

The most significant debate is about when life begins. Is the unborn child fully human or tissue? It cannot be both. When does human existence begin? Science says that at nineteen days, a heart starts to beat, and at forty days, the heart output is almost twenty percent of an adult.

In God's eyes, an unborn child is entirely a human being. Scripture also contends life begins before birth and refers to the unborn and born interchangeably. One is as fully human as the other. For example, God reassures Jeremiah, the prophet, of his importance by showing him he was known before he was born. "God knew him as fully human before his birth. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations" (Jeremiah 1:5)

King David wrote about how God knew him fully before he was born. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb ...Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" Psalm 139:13-16.

When Luke writes about Elizabeth and Mary greeting each other, he sp'aks of the unborn John the Baptist as a baby. "When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit." Luke 1:41.

A common argument against the Christian stance on abortion is "What about cases of rape and or incest?" As difficult as it would be to become pregnant, as a result of rape or incest, is the murder of a baby the solution? Two wrongs do not make a right. Intentionally killing the unborn child is not the answer. Also, keep in mind that having an abortion is a traumatic experience. It seems nonsensical to add an additional trauma to the woman. Too, abortion can be a means of rapists covering up their crimes. For example, if a minor is molested and becomes pregnant and then is taken to have an abortion, the molestation could continue without penalty. Abortion will never erase the pain of rape or incest, but it very well may add to it.

A child who is conceived through rape or incest is as much made in the image of God as any other human. That child's life should be protected just as much as the life of any other human being. The circumstances of conception never determine the worth of a person or that person's future. The baby in this situation is completely innocent and should not be punished for the evil act of his or her father. Depending on the situation, the mother might choose to raise the child. If she does not already have a community of support, there are many organizations and local churches ready to walk alongside her. Or she might place the child for adoption. There are many families, some unable to have children on their own, who stand ready to receive and love a child from any background.

It's also important to keep in mind that abortions due to rape or incest account for a very small percentage of total abortions: only 1 percent of abortions can be traced to cases of rape or incest

The overwhelming majority of abortions performed today involve women who simply do not want to have the baby. As indicated above, just 2 percent of abortions are for the reason of rape, incest, or the mother's life being at risk. Even in these more difficult 2 percent of instances, abortion should never be the first option. The life of a human being in the womb is worth every effort to preserve.

For those who have had an abortion, remember that the sin of abortion is no less forgivable than any other sin. Through faith in Christ, all sins can be forgiven (Joohn 3:16; Romans 8:1; Colossians 11:14.

A woman who has had an abortion, a man who has encouraged an abortion, and a doctor who has performed an abortion, all can be forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.

The Lord gave this prophecy to Julie Green this week,

For soon it will be shown how evil, nasty, deceitful, and manipulative, your government really is and not only what they have done against this nation, but what they have done to our friends in other nations in order to establish a new world order. My will is being done and will blow all their plans to smithereens; you would say!

To those religious leaders who have led my children astray, I say, "Repent, lest judgment comes against you. Many shake ups are occurring in My Churches. Many leaders in My congregations are not who they appear to be. Many of My Churches are full of drunkards, fornicators, liars, deceivers, manipulators, and no longer will I put up with this going on in My Body!

As the Supreme Court has been wrapping up its term, its decision in the case of Kennedy v. Bremerton School District is a landmark in the American principles of religious freedom and free speech.

In a groundbreaking decision on Monday, the court ruled in favor of a former high school football coach who prayed in public after games and lost his job over it.

The 6-3 decision was unambiguous:

"The Free Exercise and Free Speech Clauses of the First Amendment protect an individual engaging in a personal religious observance from government reprisal," the ruling stated, "The Constitution neither mandates nor permits the government to suppress such religious expression."Justice Gorsuch wrote the opinion and was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito,

Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonya Sotomayor and Elena Kagan dissented.

Jay Sekulow:

This is the BIGGEST VICTORY yet in our fight for life.

Roe v. Wade has been OVERTURNED. But believe me, the fight is far from over. RIGHT NOW, states are scrambling to force the so-called "right to abortion."

Michigan's Governor Gretchen Whitmer is seeking to change the state constitution to make abortion on demand permanent there. And a California committee just passed the MOST TWISTED bill we've ever seen. It would allow abortion up to 28 days following birth; that's INFANTICIDE.

We plan to testify before the state's Senate Committee on Health opposing the CA bill, and we have already sent multiple legal letters opposing the bill. And in Michigan, we're engaged with two state prosecutors to defeat Gov. Whitmer's unconstitutional lawsuit.

And now the Left is using Roe's demise as a rallying cry to impact the November midterm elections. They want to try to codify Roe once again.

The abortion machine is not stopping. Neither are we.

We're aggressively engaged in dozens of critical pro-life cases right now across the country that could change the course of the pro-life fight for decades.

Texas Republican Party Declares Homosexuality an 'Abnormal Lifestyle,' Calls on SCOTUS to Overturn Obergefell v. Hodges

June 26, 2022 at 7:41am

The Supreme Court's work is far from done, according to Texas Republicans.

Days before the Court rocked liberals by ruling that the Constitution permits individuals to carry a gun to protect themselves and then followed that up by overturning the Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion, the Texas Republican Party's platform called for nullifying the 2015 decision that allowed same-sex marriage.

"We believe the Obergefell v. Hodges decision, overturning the Texas law prohibiting same-sex marriage in Texas, has no basis in the Constitution and should be nullified, the document adopted by Texas Republicans at last weekend's convention said.

The document went further to state:

"Homosexuality is an abnormal lifestyle choice," it said. "We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin, and we oppose any criminal or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values. No one should be granted special legal status based on their LGBTQ+ identification"

On the subject of gender identity, the Texas GOP was very clear.

"We oppose all efforts to validate transgender identity. For the purpose of attempting to affirm a person of the age 21 or under if their perception is inconsistent with their biological sex, no medical practitioner or provider may engage in the following practices:  Intervene in any way to prevent natural progression of puberty. Administer or provide opposite sex hormones. Perform any surgery on healthy body parts of the underage person."

The Texas Republicans also said that those who don't like the sex they were born with can use their own cash to pay for whatever changes they want to make.

"We oppose the use of taxpayer funds for any type of medical gender dysphoria treatments or sex change operations and/or treatments. This includes but is not limited to military personnel as well as inmates in federal, state, or local prisons or jails. Inmates must be housed according to their biological sex. No Federal, state, insurance, or probate monies may be allocated for the use of such treatment."

Bottom of Form

During an appearance at the convention, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas slammed Disney's "Lightyear" movie for having a same-sex couple kiss.

"Like, just leave the kids alone," Cruz said, according to The Hill. "Consenting adults, you can do what you want to do, but this culture assault is driven by radical leftists who want to tear down America."

The issue of overturning the 2015 ruling gained new traction Friday when Justice Clarence Thomas brought up the subject in a concurring opinion to Friday's decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, according to Newsweek.

Thomas wrote that the Supreme Court should reconsider all of this Court's substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell."

Griswold v. Connecticut was a 1965 court ruling that claimed that married couples have a right to buy and use contraception without the government getting in the way. The 2003 ruling of Lawrence v. Texas ruled that penalties for sodomy or private sex acts between consenting adults are unconstitutional.

This is just a sampling of what is going on in our States. Be encouraged because the Lord has heard our prayers and is acting on our behalf to clean up our nation.
